Dr. Nordyke practiced in the Austin area for a short time but has come home to rekindle a successful 20-year practice back in Lubbock. He looks forward to reconnecting with both former and new patients who need orthopedic and sports medicine services. Born and raised in Lubock, Dr. Nordyke received his Doctor of Medicine at UT Medical Branch, completing his orthopedic residency at TTU Health Sciences Center. He is specialized in a wide range of outpatient orthopedic procedures with an emphasis on hand, wrist, arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgeries.
Dr. Nordyke is pioneering the use of Grace Clinic’s 64-slice CT scanner, in combination with specially designed 3D rendering software to create revolutionary new imaging studies. This advanced technology allows a previously unavailable means to diagnose complex fractures and other orthopedic conditions needing more advanced work up prior to surgery. Doctor/patient communication is significantly improved and outcomes are much improved. Concurrent with his orthopedic practice, Dr. Nordyke is providing a comprehensive sports medicine practice serving youth sports teams and adult recreational athletes alike, serving as team physician for numerous high schools and colleges.
