Sonny Mahal, M.D. | Urology
Dr Mahal grew up in California and received the nickname Sonny at a early age. Since his nickname proved easier to say than his given name it has been with him ever since. Dr Mahal is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his residency training at the UT Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. Helping patients with diverse needs while developing long-term relationships is why he finds the practice of urology so rewarding.
Dr Mahal is excited to join Dr Stalcup, who has been a well-respected urologist in Lubbock for years. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching sports, especially college football.
